Pertemps is one of the UK’s largest recruitment companies.

  • The Challenge

    Pertemps wanted to increase visibility and boost job applications, but their existing advertising strategy was proving inefficient. 

    Their in-house team were brilliant ambassadors for the Pertemps brand and had delivered many successful campaigns. But, there was a gap in skills to ensure their budgets were working as hard as they could across the platforms. They were spending £150 to acquire a completed candidate application.

    Pertemps needed a more strategic and cost-effective approach to convert job seekers efficiently.

    Working with their in-house marketing team, our goal was to help them attract more candidates whilst reducing applicant acquisition costs.

  • The Strategy

    The &Allies team worked alongside the Pertemps team as specialist consultants:

    Creative. After delving into the Pertemps brand, we produced data-led creative briefs that guided a full rework of all ad visuals and messaging. This made them more engaging and aligned.

    Audience. Webguided the in-house team on how to perform in-depth data analysis to identify high-intent candidates, ensuring their ads were shown to job seekers who were most likely to apply.

    Testing. We set up strategic A/B testing processes – implemented to optimise ad formats, placements, audiences and messaging. We continued to advise the team on key adjustments based on the data, and how to recognise these opportunities.

The Results

Our consultancy work saw a huge impact on the in-house team. They are now equipped with a new strategic approach, they’ve gained skills in reading the data and have an elevated understanding of the platforms. 

The invigorated strategy attracted a larger pool of qualified candidates for a fraction of the cost.
